Space is an immersive healing studio nestled at the feet of Mt. Tamalpais in Fairfax, California. An on-land project of the Academy, we created Space to offer exciting ways for everyone to experience healing connections with self, nature, and community. Think sound therapy, nature connection, live talks and music, retreats, and integral coaching.
Like everything we do at the Academy, Space offerings are guided by science and experts in wellbeing who deeply respect ancestral wisdom. Programs support all ages, developmental stages, and backgrounds. Find a program that feels right for you.

Group sound therapy + Biomats
Deep work, without the effort
Sound therapy works on the principle that we receive optimal healing and transformation when we’re relaxed, not when we’re over-efforting. Cascading frequencies, tones, and harmonies guide our brainwaves into states that soothe the nervous system and allow our bodymind to find its natural state of wellbeing. You can experience sound’s powerful effects in the fresh and cozy atmosphere of Space.
Meet your Dreamboat
The most delightful loungers you’ve ever met, our signature Dreamboats cushion your body as your consciousness drifts off on sonic waves created by world-class neuroscientists and sound artists. Pro audio surround sound tickles your brainwaves with precision to enhance wellbeing, while optional headphones offer an even deeper immersion. Ready to float away into deep healing and relaxation? We offer 24 convenient times each week! Just select the best time for you, then opt for the full body experience with a Biomat or go for the pure sound experience without the Biomat. 1-hour single sessions cost $35, and even less with a membership.

Live sound baths elevate the group’s energy toward wellbeing and belonging, while live speakers, art shows, and nature-inspired workshops deepen our collective wisdom.
